Santa Fe, NM – Kevin For Good, a brand based on a little robot named Kevin who goes on adventures using his imagination, curiosity, and wonder, this week excitedly announced they are officially launching a children’s book, Kevin and the Balloon Day, that will follow Kevin and his understanding of kindness.

Borne from a passion for covering life’s simple, emotional topics using the viewpoint of a tiny, compact, and adorable robot named Kevin, Kevin For Good has an impressive social media following, with close to 17,000 followers on Instagram today.

“Over the past year, I have worked to create, develop, and bring to life a little robot named Kevin, which was officially completed in May 2016,” said David Wargo, Founder and Creator of Kevin For Good. “Kevin awakens our inner-child, allowing us to connect to a world of imagination, curiosity, and wonder. We are incredibly excited to be taking the world of Kevin into an upcoming children’s book for families worldwide.”

Kevin and the Balloon Day follows Kevin as he decides to help his friends sell balloons one day. Whilst partaking in the activity, Kevin discovers that simple acts of kindness can change lives and inspire others.

Mascot Books will be publishing the children’s book.

“I’m inviting all families to dive into the adventurous world of Kevin For Good later this year,” said Wargo.

Wargo is a creative director, coach, and trainer based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. He divides his time training and coaching clients while creating the adventures of Kevin the little robot. To date, Kevin For Good has a growing global audience of almost 30,000 followers, incredibly excited for the highly anticipated children’s novel.

Children’s Book Review: Becoming a Big Brother or Sister

Becoming a Big Brother or Sister is a perfect little book to help parents take the mystery out of what a sibling can expect when a new baby comes into the household. In her debut book, Darlene Stango draws upon her experience as a mother, as well as a seasoned maternity nurse, to address many of the common questions children may have during this exciting stage of development.

The text and illustrations work very well together to help the reader, be it a parent or the child, envision what the future may hold. Read aloud, I feel this book would make the perfect bedtime story for the expectant preschool aged sibling. The delightful pictures and baby blanket border, seen throughout the book, help to create a visually appealing and recognizable theme that brings the story to life.

While the story revolves around the introduction of a new baby, the focus stays on point and never loses sight of the big brother or sister. Having been a mother of a 5 year old when I brought my second child home, I would have found this book very useful.

Becoming a Big Brother or Sister brought back many fond memories for me, and I am pretty certain it’s in memories like those that the author found her inspiration.

Becoming a Big Brother or Sister can be purchased on Amazon or by clicking here: Becoming a Big Brother or Sister.
