Nebraska Beef Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds ground beef
12 bacon strips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven at 375 F.
  2. Take a bowl and mix first 8 ingredients.
  3. Now add beef in it and mix well.
  4. Shape the batter into 6 in rolls.
  5. Take a sheet of waxed paper and place bacon strips side by side,
  6. Put one beef on each bacon strip. Roll up and secure and seal edges with tooth pick. Make all rolls the same way.
  7. Grease baking pan and place these rolls into it.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes.

Michigan Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

2 lbs lean ground beef
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
4 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
1⁄4 teaspoon hot sauce

Directions

  1. Take a saucepan and mix tomato sauce, hot sauce and seasonings on medium heat.
  2. Add raw ground beef and mash it whole cooking.
  3. Cook for 30 minutes and then simmer on low heat for 2-3 hours.
  4. Top with chopped onions.
