Ingredients:
2 cups plain 2% fat or whole Fage Greek yogurt
1/2 cup Extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons finely minced fresh herbs (such as tarragon, parsley, and chives)
1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
Freshly ground black pepper
Kosher salt
Directions:
Making a Greek Yogurt Labneh is easy! You will need a strainer with a few layers of cheesecloth over a bowl. In another bowl, combine yogurt, kosher salt, and lemon zest. Stir with a Spoon. Put the yogurt mixture into the cheesecloth-lined strainer and gently squeeze out any excess liquid from the yogurt. Remove any liquid; the remaining yogurt should be very thick. Roll the cheese yogurt into small balls or cut it in different shapes. Place i glass jar.
Whisk extra virgin oil, finely minced fresh herbs, and lemon zest to combine. You can season with salt and pepper the way you like. some people don’t like salty! Pour everything over the yogurt in the jar. Cover everything and place in the refrigerator and let it marinate for at least 12 hours and up to 2 to 3 weeks.
