There are many ways to cook asparagus that are incredibly healthy for you. Asparagus is low in calories and is a great source of nutrients, including fiber, folate, and vitamins A, C and K.

1 bunch asparagus spears, washed and trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large egg
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ½ tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
In a bread bag, mix garlic powder, sea salt, and ground black pepper. Shake well. Add egg and olive oil and knead bag to mix. Add the asparagus spears and coat them thoroughly with the mixture.
Arrange the asparagus on a baking sheet in individual layers.
Bake in the preheated oven until just tender, 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, and serve hot.
