Memories. We all have them. Some are good, and some are not. When people write down events in their lives, it’s called writing in a journal or a diary. That’s one of the main ideas behind Human Diaries – sharing our stories with others. Unlike those in a diary, though, these are stories that we welcome others to read. Some are funny, some are sad, but they’re all things someone has experienced.
One thing we’ve been doing is interviewing people. I’m concerned that some people get the wrong idea about the use of the word ‘interview’, though. Our interviews aren’t anything like a job interview. They’re more or less an opportunity to tell the world a little bit about yourself.
In addition to the interviews, we would also like to invite our readers to share interesting stories about their experiences. Even if you don’t want to tell your story, maybe you’d like to share some funny experiences with us.
I recently started thinking about some stories I remember from my past. I made a list of them, and will start writing about some of them. Some are really short, and some of them will take much longer to convey.
Does anyone else have interesting stories they’d like to share with our readers?
