Did you ever spill a drink all over something like important work papers, or even your laptop? Almost everyone would have to admit that they have. Face it – most people like to sip drinks while using computers, or working on taxes or other important papers. I don’t know of anyone who likes to clean up the mess when their drink spills, even if the liquid doesn’t ruin anything! I once almost lost a laptop because of a cup of tea. I just got really lucky that my husband knew how to replace the keyboard. I still have my laptop, but had to spend money to get it back to operating condition, plus I was without a computer for a while then until we got the part and it was fixed. If only I had a Conester, I could have avoided the whole thing! I recently heard about the Conester, and I honestly want to get one or more of them. It’s a great idea for a product – a cone shaped anti-spill drink coaster that prevents your drink from getting knocked over. The cost is very reasonable, and it’s more than worth the price. A Conester is definitely less expensive than a new computer.
I was already sold on the idea before I even did any research on the other features. It also has some sort of rubbery material on the bottom that prevents it from sliding around. It comes in several different colors – red, green, blue, charcoal, and brown. There is a slot in it to accommodate mug handles. It is also designed with an interior that allows most cups to fit. It’s highly durable, and dishwasher safe. It even has a condensation reservoir to make sure to keep the surface underneath completely dry. I love that it helps to keep cold drinks cold, and hot drinks hot, too!
Fox Valley Novelties is a small company in Chicago, and they are the ones who created the Conester. It will be launching on Kickstarter on the morning of April 14, 2016. I will have to make sure to contribute to fund the first production run. I really can’t wait to actually try one!
