Ingredients
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
2/3 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Stir in flour, salt and oil and knead it into dough.
- Place dough in greased bowl and cover. Set aside for an hour.
- Pre heat oven at 475 F.
- Roll the dough flat in a circle shape and place it on a baking pan.
- Spread tomato sauce all over, along with layering oregano, mozzarella cheese, basil, Romano cheese and red pepper flakes.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
