1 teaspoon active dry yeast

2/3 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce

1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Romano cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

2 tablespoons olive oil


  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Stir in flour, salt and oil and knead it into dough.
  3. Place dough in greased bowl and cover. Set aside for an hour.
  4. Pre heat oven at 475 F.
  5. Roll the dough flat in a circle shape and place it on a baking pan.
  6. Spread tomato sauce all over, along with layering oregano, mozzarella cheese, basil, Romano cheese and red pepper flakes.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
