Sweet Potato

As we approach the most amazing time of the year, we are all looking for great recipes to cook for family and friends. Some may be better than others but overall we love simplicity! Ingredients:

5 cups of cooked and mashed sweet potatoes (You can get them from your local grocery store or farmers market)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup butter, not melted
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup milk
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs

Directions:

1) Preheat oven to 365°F (175°C). Grease a medium size baking dish.

2) In a large bowl, mix together mashed sweet potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, milk, sugar, and eggs. Pour and Spread sweet potato mixture into a medium size baking dish.

3) In another small bowl, mix together brown sugar and flour. Cut in 1/3 cup butter until mixture is crumbly, then stir in walnuts. Sprinkle walnut mixture over the sweet potatoes.

4) Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown and ready to eat.

5) Enjoy!
